Dangerous Siting Of Cement Company
It’s for the reason of protecting the environment that resulted in the protests and recent media coverage against the wrongly sited location of the Empire Cement factory.
High Court Injuncts Empire Cement
An Accra High court injuncted Empire Cement Ghana Limited from Manufacturing Cement in the McCarthy Hill enclave. The injunction follows the concerns of the McCarthy Hill Residents.

Membership
How to become a Member
Membership of the MHRA shall be open to any person over 18 living or located in the area who is interested in helping MHRA to achieve its aims, willing to abide by the rules of the MHRA and willing to pay any subscription/dues agreed by the Management Team. Payment of dues is non-refundable. Voting or receiving benefits will be restricted to fully paid-up members of the Association.
